A month ago scientists in South Korea have announced a new world record for the length of time they sustained temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius seven times hotter than the sun’s core [during a nuclear fusion experiment](https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2022/05/world/iter-nuclear-fusion-climate-intl-cnnphotos/), in what they say is an important step forward for this futuristic energy technology.

Nuclear fusion seeks to replicate the reaction that [makes the sun and other stars shine (https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/21/climate/nuclear-fusion-ai-climate-solution/index.html), by fusing together two atoms to unleash huge amounts of energy. Often referred to as the holy grail of climate solutions, fusion has the potential to provide limitless energy without planet-warming carbon pollution. But mastering the process on Earth is extremely challenging. In recent times many countries have committed to its research and development as a way to somehow save the planet from the use of polluting energies.

While impressive from a human standpoint to achieve such an energy milestone it still requires the proper stewardship to use it for the benefit of mankind. So far mankind has failed to demonstrate any good long term stewardship for any project or task it created.

The artificial sun is nothing to the real Son, Jesus Christ who had the energy to create the entire universe, when you create the entire universe from mere words spoken and it was, an artificial sun hardly compares in any way.

Remember the words of Psalm 33:

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;

  let all the people of the world revere him.

 9 For he spoke, and it came to be;

  he commanded, and it stood firm.

10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations;

  he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

 11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,

  the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Happy Sabbath!

Your brother in Christ,
